West Cornwall

Truro

Cornwall's city: cathedral, market days and river creeks

Truro is the county's only city and its natural meeting point. Georgian terraces, a cathedral at the centre of everything, farmers markets on Lemon Quay and the best concentration of independent food, wine and clothing in Cornwall.

Ten minutes out and you are on the creeks: Malpas, Devoran and the Fal, where the water, the woodland and the pubs make for the softest afternoons in the county.
