Falmouth

Deep water harbour, sea swimming and a town that eats well

Falmouth sits on the third deepest natural harbour in the world and the town has always looked outward: packet ships, docks, art school, sailing. It gives it an unusual mix for Cornwall, a genuine year round food and music scene alongside four beaches inside the town boundary.

Gyllyngvase for morning swims, Swanpool and Maenporth for quieter afternoons, and the ferry across to Flushing or St Mawes when you want the water to do the work.
